Grassroot Economy
Empowering local Papuan communities to be productive.
Advancing Papua's Economy for a Better Life
We support local communities in developing creative products rooted in their culture and ancestral heritage, from noken to virgin coconut oil and traditional snacks. With our guidance, their enterprises grow while preserving local identity and indigenous wisdom.

Main Activity
We work alongside community groups driving culture-based local economies. The Yekinto group in Yanggandur Village creates cultural artifacts to preserve ancestral heritage. The Yu Mbu Tar Ta group in Onggaya Village produces VCO, shrimp paste, shredded meat, chips, and traditional ornaments as tradition-based entrepreneurship. The Katin Sai group in Gudang Arang, Merauke, consists of women noken weavers strengthening family economies through their craft and dedication.
